About the Founder
Hi, I’m James Green, founder of Green Ladder Consulting. I am a CPA with nearly a decade of experience across public accounting, transaction advisory, and corporate finance.
I began my career at Deloitte, auditing large public companies and private equity firms. I later joined Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group, where I supported CFOs and investors through buy- and sell-side financial due diligence. At Warner Music Group, I evaluated global artist investments and developed financial reporting presented to senior executives, the CFO, and the Board of Directors.
I founded Green Ladder Consulting to bring the same discipline to growing businesses that need better visibility, but do not need, or are not ready to hire, a full internal finance team.
My work focuses on turning accounting data and management assumptions into clear reporting: what changed, why it matters, how it affects cash, and what management should address next.
Green Ladder Consulting is best suited for businesses that already have accounting records in place, but need stronger management reporting, cash forecasting, and financial decision support.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me experimenting with a new recipe, at the gym, planning a trip, or playing piano.
